A reciclagem e as artes visuais na educação pré-escolar

Abstract

O presente relatório foi desenvolvido no âmbito da unidade curricular Estágio: Módulo de Intervenção Pedagógica II (IP II), do plano de estudos do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar e visa apresentar o Projeto de Intervenção Pedagógico realizado em contexto de jardim de infância. Este projeto foi promovido num grupo de crianças com idades compreendidas entre os 4 e 5 anos e é intitulado de “A reciclagem e as Artes Visuais na Educação Pré-Escolar”. No desenrolar deste relatório serão abordadas as várias etapas relativas à construção do projeto, começando pelas observações iniciais, em que se pôde notar o interesse e o prazer demonstrado pelas crianças aquando a utilização e a exploração de materiais, técnicas e instrumentos característicos das artes visuais. Junta-se a este prazer pelas artes visuais a problemática do ambiente e da necessidade de uma educação sustentável visto que o contexto onde se realizou o projeto, está inserido num concelho da cidade do Porto (Maia) reconhecido pela sua ajuda e intervenção realizada de forma a melhorar o ambiente e a educar para a sustentabilidade. Será apresentado o contexto de estágio onde me inseri, a instituição e toda a comunidade integrante da mesma, bem como num sentido mais pormenorizado, o grupo de crianças com quem desenvolvi este projeto. Neste relatório estará ainda apresentada a metodologia sob a qual orientei a minha ação, toda a pesquisa e reflexão efetuadas no decorrer do projeto e as devidas avaliações, tanto da globalidade do projeto como das propostas de atividades apresentadas. Por fim, serão apresentadas as minhas reflexões sobre todo o processo, abordando as limitações e dificuldades sentidas e toda as oportunidades de aprendizagem e de crescimento, quer pessoal, quer profissional.

This report was developed within the scope of the course: Pedagogical Intervention Module II (IP II), from the syllabus of the Master in Pre-School Education and aims to present the Pedagogical Intervention Project carried out in a kindergarten context. This project was promoted in a group of children between the ages of 4 and 5 and is entitled "Recycling and the Visual Arts in pre-school education". During this report, the various stages related to the construction of the project will be discussed, beginning with the initial observations, in which the interest and pleasure shown by the children in the use and exploration of materials, techniques and instruments characteristic of the visual arts could be noted. This pleasure for the visual arts is added to the problematic of the environment and the need for a sustainable education, since the context in which the project was carried out is part of a municipality in the city of Porto (Maia), recognized for its help and intervention, to improve the environment and to educate for sustainability. It will be presented the context of the internship where I entered, the institution and the entire community, as well as in a more detailed sense, the group of children with whom I developed this project. This report will also present the methodology under which I guided my action, all the research and reflection carried out during the project and the appropriate evaluations of both the overall project and the proposed activities. Finally, my reflections on the whole process will be presented, addressing the limitations and difficulties experienced and all opportunities for learning and growth, both personal and professional.
