A Casa da Botica, Amares: da ruína à oportunidade de Intervenção

Abstract

A elaboração deste trabalho assenta na oportunidade de intervenção num edifício em ruína, a Casa da Botica, do séc. XIX, inserida em pleno centro da vila de Amares. Como tal, pretende-se oferecer uma solução sob a forma de um projeto de arquitetura, que permita combater o problema da ruína e do esquecimento do património identitário desta região. A oportunidade de intervenção não se prende apenas numa questão de reabilitar um edifício antigo, mas sim num novo enquadramento deste património. Esta intervenção será suportada por uma análise detalhada do objeto em questão e do local em que se enquadra, bem como nas várias metodologias de atuação de como intervir sobre a pré-existência. Sustentado nestas premissas, pretendemos que o projeto de arquitetura e o seu programa adapte os novos tempos à pré-existência, estabelecendo uma interação da Casa da Botica com a envolvente que o rodeia, interferindo e afetando diretamente a dinâmica do centro da vila de Amares.

The elaboration of this project is based on the opportunity of intervention in a ruin of a built patrimony, Casa da Botica, from nineteenth century, located in the centre of the Vila de Amares. Consequently, the main objective is provide a solution in a form of an architectural project, that will combat the problem of the ruin and forgetfulness of the built patrimony of this region. This opportunity of intervention doesn’t mean a simple reconstruction of an old building, but also a new framework of this ruin. This intervention will be supported by a detailed analysis of the building in question and the place where it belongs, as well as in the various theories of intervention of how to rehabilitate on heritage. Based on these premises, we pretend that the architecture project and his function adapts the new times to the pre-existence, establishing an interaction of the Casa da Botica with the buildings that surrounds it and affecting directly in the centre of the Vila de Amares.
