À descoberta do eu e do outro

Abstract

O presente trabalho patenteia o relatório de estágio do Mestrado em Educação Pré-Escolar do Instituto de Educação da Universidade do Minho, efetivado no ano letivo de 2016/2017. Apresenta um projeto de intervenção pedagógica desenvolvido na valência de jardim-de-infância. Este projeto de intervenção pedagógica foi desenvolvido com base na observação do contexto e das crianças. Este procurou fortalecer a identidade pessoal e social da criança numa descoberta do eu e do outro, tendo como pedra basilar as relações que as crianças estabelecem umas com as outras para que possam conhecer-se a si próprias, os pares e o mundo que as rodeia. As atividades em que as crianças se envolveram instigaram fomentar estas relações, envolver as famílias, desenvolver a autonomia, a tomada de decisões, a consciência de si, bem como o sentido de pertença a um grupo. Os efeitos do projeto de intervenção pedagógica, foram permeados por momentos de entreajuda, no saber escutar e esperar para ser ouvido, na tomada de decisões e na concretização das mesmas, no sentido de pertença a um grupo, procurando ter conhecimento de si próprios nomeadamente das suas caraterísticas pessoais, gostos, interesses, motivações, bem como conhecer os pares. O trabalho sustenta-se em princípios éticos e deontológicos (Bertram et al., 2016). É assegurada a confidencialidade dos dados recolhidos e garantida a privacidade das crianças procurando preservar os seus dados pessoais. O trabalho desenvolvido evidencia que quando se tornar real o exercício dos direitos das crianças na vivência da participação, da democracia estas beneficiam na construção do conhecimento sobre si e sobre os outros e na construção da sua identidade pessoal e social.

The present work shows the internship report of the Master's Degree in Pre-school Education of the University of Minho's Education Institute, which took place in the 2016/2017 academic year. It depicts a project of pedagogical intervention materialized in the educational context of a kindergarten. This project of pedagogical intervention was developed based on the observation of the context and the children. It sought to develop the personal and social identity of the child in a discovery of the self and the other, having as basis the relationships that the children establish with each other so that they can know themselves, the peers and the world that surrounds them. Activities involving children have instigated the fostering oh these relationships, engaging families, developing autonomy, decision-making, self-awareness, and the sense of belonging to a group. The effects of the project of pedagogical intervention were permeated by moments of mutual help, of knowing how to listen and waiting to be heard, in the decision making and in the concretization of decisions, while promoting the sense of belonging to a group and the action of discovery of the self, namely their personal characteristics, interests, motivations, as well as knowing the peers. The work is based on ethical and deontological principles (Bertram et al., 2016). The confidentiality of the collected data is ensured and the children's privacy is guaranteed in order to preserve their personal data. The work developed shows that when the exercise of the children´s rights in the experience of participation and democracy becomes real, they benefit in the construction of knowledge about themselves and others and in the construction of their personal and social identity.
