Otimização dos registos grave e agudo na aprendizagem da trompa no ensino vocacional especializado de música

Abstract

O presente relatório é elaborado no âmbito do Estágio Profissional do Mestrado em Ensino de Música da Universidade do Minho e reflete a Intervenção Pedagógica realizada durante o ano letivo 2015/2016, na Escola Profissional Artística do Vale do Ave, nos Grupos de Recrutamento M20 – Trompa, e M32 - Conjuntos Vocais e/ou Instrumentais; Orquestra; Música de Câmara; Coro; Classe de Conjunto. A intervenção Pedagógica teve como objectivo a optimização da performance nos registos agudos e graves da trompa, com o auxilio de exercícios técnicos, pretendendo contribuir para a definição de um método de estudo mais eficaz e produtivo, capaz de responder as necessidades dos intervenientes em executar performances como trompistas agudos ou trompistas graves. Numa uma primeira fase, de observação, foram identificadas as principais dificuldades e características dos alunos nos diferentes registos. Com base nesse levantamento, foi criado um Guia Diário, com uma seleção individualizada de repertório e procedimentos técnicos específicos direcionada para o domínio dos registos grave a agudo da trompa, que foram aplicados em contexto de aula e no estudo autónomo dos alunos. A avaliação da intervenção foi efetuada com recurso a questionários pré- e pós-intervenção, bem como uma entrevista ao Professor Cooperante, verificando-se uma melhoria significativa no domínio dos registos agudo e grave e na flexibilidade na transição entre registos, assim como uma melhoria na qualidade, eficiência e organização do estudo autónomo dos alunos.

The present report is produced within the scope of the Professional Internship of the Master’s Degree in Music Education at the University of Minho and it reflects the Pedagogical Intervention carried out during the academic year 2015/2016, at the Vocational Artistic School of Vale do Ave, in the Recruitment Groups M20 – Horn, and M32 – Vocal and/or Instrumental Groups; Orchestra; Chamber Music; Choir; Group Class. The aim of the Pedagogical Intervention was to optimize the performance of the high and low registers of the Horn, with the help of technical exercises, aiming to contribute to the definition of a more efficient and productive study method, capable of meeting the needs of the performers such as high or low horn players. In a first observation phase, the main difficulties and characteristics of students in the different registers were identified. Based on that survey, a Daily Guide was created, with an individualized selection of repertoire and specific technical procedures directed to the mastery of high and low registers of the Horn, which were applied in class context and in autonomous study of students. The assessment of the intervention was made using pre and post-intervention, as well as an interview with the Cooperative Teacher, seeing a improvement in the mastery of high and low registers and flexibility in their transition, as well as an improvement in the quality and efficiency of study and its organization.
