Avaliação de um percurso formativo recorrendo à técnica de focus group

Abstract

O presente Relatório inseriu-se no âmbito de um estágio realizado durante o segundo ano do Mestrado em Educação, na área de especialização de Formação, Trabalho e Recursos Humanos que decorreu no Pólo de Braga da Maisformação. A temática deste estudo centrou-se na avaliação da formação de um percurso formativo de Técnico de Vendas (Vida Ativa) que decorreu entre fevereiro e julho de 2017. O Relatório encontra-se dividido em vários capítulos: o enquadramento contextual, apresentando a Maisformação; o desenvolvimento do processo de investigação, mencionando a área/problemática de intervenção na qual se expõe o objeto de estudo, o objetivo, o campo e a população/amostra; o enquadramento teórico, no qual se contextualiza a educação e a formação profissional em Portugal, bem como a explanação de avaliação formativa e avaliação da formação, referindo com maior ênfase o Modelo de Kirkpatrick. A metodologia utilizada para este estudo foi de caráter qualitativo, enquadrando a técnica a qual se recorreu - o focus group - com o método de estudo de caso e a investigação qualitativa em educação e ciências sociais. Os resultados foram proveitosos para o conhecimento desta realidade. Foi possível ter acesso a informação que contribuiu para um melhor entendimento do percurso formativo, explorando áreas que não seriam alcançáveis de outra forma, através das captações dos conceitos, sentimentos, atitudes, crenças, experiências e reações ao mesmo tempo se compreendem as perspetivas de cada pessoa. No fim deste Relatório, apresenta-se uma análise crítica dos resultados, algumas reflexões com caráter sugestivo direcionadas à Maisformação e, igualmente, a futuros estagiários, refletindo, por fim, acerca do contributo que este estágio e construção do Relatório proporcionou à minha formação profissional e pessoal, à instituição acolhedora e à área de especialização.

This report is part of an internship held during the second year of the Master's in Education, in the area of Specialization in Training, Work and Human Resources, which was held at a training center Maisformação in the municipality of Braga. The thematic of this study focuses on the evaluation of the formation of a training course of Sales Technician (Vida Ativa) that ran between February and July 2017. The report is divided into several chapters. First is the contextual framework, presenting Maisformação; the development of the research process, mentioning the area/problem of intervention in which the object of study, the objectives, the field and the population will be known; the theoretical framework, which contextualizes education and vocational training in Portugal, as well as the explanation of formative evaluation and evaluation of training, referring more strongly to the Kirkpatrick Model. The methodology used was qualitative, framing the technique that was used for this study - the focus group - with the method of case study and qualitative research in education and social sciences. The results were useful for the knowledge of this reality. It was possible to have access to information that contributed to a better understanding of the formative course, exploring areas that would not otherwise be achievable through the abstraction of concepts, feelings, attitudes, beliefs, experiences and reactions while understanding the perspectives of each person. At the end of this report, we present a critical analysis of the results, some reflections on the present with a suggestive character directed to the welcoming institution and also to future trainees, reflecting, finally, the contribution that this stage and construction of the report provided to my professional and personal training, to the welcoming institution and to the area of specialization.
