Os fundos comunitários como resposta à necessidade de apoio ao financiamento da valorização das PME: uma reflexão a partir do estágio profissional na Vizelgraf e Prescript

Abstract

A entrada de Portugal na União Europeia constituiu um marco na história económica portuguesa. Um dos aspetos mais relevantes da integração portuguesa foi a quantidade significativa de Fundos Estruturais que o país recebeu. Este trabalho procura avaliar a importância desses fundos, no desenvolvimento das pequenas e médias empresas portuguesas. Para tal, foi feita uma revisão da literatura sobre a importância dos Fundos Estruturais no desenvolvimento económico português, e uma reflexão sobre se os Fundos Estruturais constituíram uma oportunidade para o desenvolvimento do Tecido Empresarial Português. Ao longo deste Relatório de Estágio, vai sendo descrito o período de estágio de 6 meses, nas empresas Vizelgraf e Prescript, ao longo do qual se irá apresentar uma caracterização da entidade de acolhimento, uma apresentação dos objetivos e enquadramento do estágio e uma enumeração das tarefas desenvolvidas. No decurso deste estudo, foi possível constatar que os apoios comunitários são cada vez menores, e que é necessário reunir diferentes condições para que uma empresa se possa tornar uma possível candidata a estes fundos, ao mesmo tempo que, através da realização do estágio, foi perceptível existirem diferentes formas de captação e manutenção de clientes, cada vez mais envolvendo instrumentos digitais.

The integration of Portugal into the European Union was an important landmark to the Portuguese economic history. One of the most important points was the significant amount of Structural Funds Portugal has received. The aim of this work is to evaluate the importance of these funds to the small and medium-sized Portuguese enterprises´ development. To this end, it was made a literature review on the importance of the Structural Funds in the Portuguese economic development, and a reflection on whether these Structural Funds were an opportunity or, on the opposite, if they did not help significantly to the Portuguese companies business’ development. Throughout this Internship Report, the six-month internship period is described in Vizelgraf and Prescript companies, along with a characterization of the host organization, a presentation of the goals/ internship and the developed tasks. During this study period, it was possible to realize that the community support is becoming smaller and that companies need to meet several different conditions to become a possible applicant to these funds. At the same time, during this internship, it became clear that there are different ways to catch and keep customers involving more and more digital tools.
