A aprendizagem ativa: descobrindo novas culturas no jardim de infância e explorando os sentidos em creche

Abstract

O presente relatório tem como objetivo apresentar o projeto de intervenção pedagógica desenvolvido em contexto de jardim de infância e creche, surgido no âmbito da unidade curricular Prática de Ensino Supervisionada, inserido no mestrado de Educação Pré-Escolar. A urgência do projeto “A aprendizagem ativa: descobrindo novas culturas no Jardim de Infância e explorando os sentidos em Creche” surgiu através da observação de brincadeiras, dos interesses demonstrados pelas crianças e em diálogo com as educadoras. Assim sendo, e com base nas minhas observações, projetei a minha intervenção pedagógica com os objetivos de incentivar e aumentar a curiosidade das crianças criando novas oportunidades de questionamento, pesquisa, exploração, descoberta e brincadeira. Estas oportunidades foram estruturadas tendo como base os interesses das crianças e como objetivo a ampliação dos seus interesses de modo a encontrarem respostas para as questões que elas próprias iam identificando. As estratégias pedagógicas surgiram do mesmo tema, contudo divergiram em dois ramos distintos, a diversidade sensorial e a diversidade cultural. No jardim de infância, as crianças construiram novos conhecimentos e aprendizagens sobre novas culturas, onde o envolvimento parental esteve bastante presente. Ao longo desta pesquisa não foram só as crianças os grandes entusiastas, a família demonstrou também bastante interesse pelo projeto devido à ligação que esta tinha com estes países, pois alguns pais encontravam-se a trabalhar nos países escolhidos para a descoberta. Esta intervenção no jardim de infância promoveu nas crianças, na família e nos adultos presentes na sala o reconhecimento da igualdade de direitos, curiosidade e o respeito pela diversidade. Já na creche, as estratégias foram repensadas no sentido de proporcionar às crianças atividades de exploração e manipulação de materiais novos e desconhecidos. A diversidade teve, neste contexto, um papel de enriquecimento sensorial através da brincadeira livre, visto que a mesma se torna essencial para a aprendizagem. O presente projeto proporcionou-nos aprendizagens ao longo das atividades que foram desenvolvidas no mesmo. Ao longo do estágio, este tema foi-se expandindo conforme o interesse das crianças e resultou numa aprendizagem ativa, onde a descoberta motivada gerou aprendizagens em vários domínios.

The present report serves to show the project developed in context of kindergarten and childcare that emerged with the curricular unit of Practice of Supervised Teaching inside the mastering of Pre-school Education The urge of this project” Active learning: discovering new cultures in Kindergarten and exploring the senses in Nursery” surged from the observation of play, from interests shown by the children and in set with the opinion of the educators. So, and with base in my observations I projected my pedagogical intervention in the sense of encourage and increase the curiosity of the children creating opportunities of questioning, search exploration, discover, and fun. These opportunities were structured having as base the interests of the children and as objective the magnification of their interests as a way to find an answer to their own questions. The pedagogical strategies arose of the same theme, however diverged in two different paths. In the kindergarten developed an attitude of discover to new cultures of several countries where the parents’ involvement was very positive, in this search were not the children the big enthusiasts; the family demonstrated also a lot of interest by the project. This intervention in the kindergarten promoted in the children, in the families and in the adults presents in the class room an attitude of equality of rights, curiosity and respect for diversity. In the nursery the strategies were rethought to proportionate at children activities of exploration and manipulation of unknown and new materials. The diversity had in this context a role of sensorial enrichment through free playing turned essentially to learning. . This project provide us, to me and to the children, knowledges in the events of activates that were developed, with the internship, this theme expanded as the interests of the children and resulted in active learning, where the motivated discovery generated knowledge in a lot of domains.
