As TIC na educação infantil: contribuições do Facebook para a aprendizagem e para a integração família e escola

Abstract

A revolução tecnológica a cada dia aumenta e transforma de forma significativa diversos setores da sociedade: econômicos, culturais, sociais e educacionais. Os meios tecnológicos, através da informática, se fazem presentes na sociedade moderna. As crianças pequenas não estão alheias a esta gama de informações que são disponibilizadas pelas TIC. As tecnologias promovem mudanças expressivas em toda a sociedade, e, consequentemente na educação, na qual devem estar presentes, pois instituem novas formas de comunicação e estimulam as já existentes. Neste contexto, esta pesquisa visa analisar o interesse educativo do uso das TIC na aprendizagem da matemática na educação infantil, bem como elucidar as contribuições do grupo “Turminha Legal” no Facebook, para ligar família-escola em torno dos conteúdos escolares. A investigação realizada ancora-se em uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa do tipo estudo de caso. A observação, o diário de bordo, o projeto de intervenção e a entrevista foram as técnicas utilizadas para a recolha de dados. Os resultados obtidos pelo presente estudo corroboram a importância da inserção das tecnologias no ambiente escolar, e, consequentemente na educação infantil. É necessário refletir que buscar a informação em si, não é o bastante, é apenas uma parcela de todo um processo para o desenvolvimento de habilidades e competências do indivíduo. Aos alunos, demanda à necessidade de estabelecer relações entre as informações e produzir conhecimento, mediados pelo professor. A investigação aponta que as relações escola/família devem ser vistas numa perspectiva de colaboração e parceria, pois quanto mais escola e família estarem unidas mais significativos serão os resultados na aprendizagem e formação da criança.

The technological revolution to increase each day and transforms significantly different sectors of society: economic, cultural, social and educational. The technological means are present in modern society through the computer. Young children are not alien to this range of information made available by ICTs. The technologies promote significant changes in the whole society, and consequently education, which must be present, for establishing new forms of communication and encourage existing ones. In this context, this research aims to analyze the educational interest of the use of ICT in mathematics learning in early childhood education as well as elucidate the contributions of "Turminha Legal" group on Facebook, to connect family-school around the school contents. The research is anchored in a qualitative aproach of a case study. The observation, the logbook, the intervention project and the interview were the techniques used for data collection. The obtained results in this study confirm the importance of integrating technology in the school environment, and consequently in early childhood education. It is important to think that to seek the information itself, it is not enough, it is only part of a whole process to develop skills and competences of individual. It demands to students the need to establish relationships between the information and to produce knowledge, mediated by the teacher. Research shows that the school / family relations should be seen in perspective collaboration and partnership, because the more school and family are united most significant are the results in learning and child training.
