Merleau-Ponty e Jean-Paul Sartre: entre o visível e a imaginação

Abstract

Haverá em Merleau-Ponty uma teoria da imaginação? Ou poderá apenas haver uma simples teoria da imagem, e como poderá isso ser entendido na sua teoria geral da percepção? E no diálogo entre Merleau-Ponty e Sartre, não terá incorrido em erro Merleau-Ponty ao interpretar de forma equivocada o conceito de “consciência imagenizante” da teoria sartreana?

Is there any theory of imagination in Merleau-Ponty’s works? Could it be just a simple theory of image, and how can that be understood in his main theory of perception? And in the dialogue between Merleau- Ponty and Sartre, is there a mistake in Merleau-Ponty’s interpretation of the concept of “conscience imageant” of Sartre‘s theory of imagination?!
