O ensino da escrita: produção de crónicas

Abstract

Este relatório, inserido no Estágio Profissional do Mestrado em Ensino de Português e de Espanhol, documenta o resultado de uma Intervenção em duas turmas do 9º Ano, no âmbito do Português, e numa turma do mesmo ano, no âmbito do Espanhol. O principal objeto deste Projeto foi a escrita, através da produção e divulgação de crónicas na sala de aula e no contexto escolar. O Projeto desenvolveu-se em cinco momentos principais: 1. apresentação do tema aos alunos e implementação de um questionário específico para conhecer as suas motivações, métodos de trabalho, dificuldades na escrita, com o intuito de delinear os métodos de ensino e as estratégias mais adequadas a cada grupo; 2. apresentação da Crónica como género textual e respetivas caraterísticas, recorrendo à leitura e análise de crónicas; 3. produção, acompanhada pelo professor, de uma crónica, com o intuito de, aos poucos, delegar autonomia nos alunos no processo de produção da escrita; 4. produção de uma crónica a título individual, sobre o tema escolhido pelo aluno, sem descurar a orientação do professor; 5. divulgação das crónicas através de um livro, que ficaria na biblioteca escolar, abrindo, deste modo, o leque de leitores das crónicas. No Espanhol, o Projeto desenvolveu-se de modo semelhante, mas tendo em conta que o nível e a exigência não poderiam ser os mesmos do Português. Este Relatório encontra-se estruturado em três capítulos fundamentais. No primeiro, é feito um enquadramento contextual e teórico da Intervenção no âmbito da escrita. No segundo capítulo, apresenta-se a Intervenção nas duas disciplinas, avaliam-se os resultados obtidos e lança-se um olhar sobre o impacto das estratégias aplicadas ao longo do ano letivo. Por fim, é feita uma avaliação global da Intervenção, onde são integradas as considerações finais sobre o trabalho desenvolvido e as estratégias adoptadas.

This report falls within the scope of a Professional Internship, carried out in the framework of a Master’s degree in Teaching Portuguese and Spanish. It documents the results of a Course of Action undertaken in two 9th grade classes, in what concerns the Teaching of Portuguese, as well as a 9th grade class, in what concerns the Teaching of Spanish. This Project’s main object was writing; the writing and presentation of chronicles at a class room level, as well as within the school context. This Project was developed in five main stages: 1. presentation of the theme to the students and implementation of a targeted questionnaire in order to know their motivations, work methods and writing difficulties. The goal was to outline the teaching methods and the most suitable strategies to each group; 2. presentation of the Chronicle as a text genre, and of its characteristics through the reading and analysis of chronicles; 3. writing of a chronicle – with the teacher’s guidance – aiming to promote students’ autonomy in their writing process; 4. individual writing of a chronicle on a theme chosen by the student while bearing in mind the teacher’s guidance; 5. presentation of these chronicles through a book; this book would then be kept in the school library and would allow more readers to have access to them. In what concerns the Teaching of Spanish, this Project was developed in a similar way, bearing in mind, however, that the level of difficulty could not be the same as that of Portuguese. This report is structured in three fundamental chapters. On the first chapter, it is given a theoretical and contextual framework of the Course of Action within the context of writing. The second chapter presents the Course of Action undertaken in the two subjects, assesses the results obtained and discusses the impact of the strategies applied throughout the school year. Finally, this report concludes with a global assessment of the Course of Action and with the final considerations on the work developed and on the adopted strategies.
