A ecranovisão do terror do século XXI

Abstract

Uma das ecranovisões mais poderosas da história dos ecrãs, aconteceu em 2001: o 11 de Setembro. Neste artigo, analisando qualitativamente algumas entrevistas, revelamos como esta ecranovisão, desde o seu acontecimento até à actualidade, constitui ainda o arquétipo de terror naqueles que lhe estiveram sujeitos. Concluímos assim que, no exacto momento, o acontecimento mediático vale sobretudo pela força violenta da actualidade; depois desse acontecer, passa a valer sobretudo pela sua força em modo de ecranovisão, quer dizer, pela sua capacidade de se impor na consciência e nas contingências individuais e colectivas. Este é um exemplo da força das ecranovisões, que aqui queremos revelar.

One of the most powerful ecranovisions of the screens history, it happened in 2001: The Nine Eleven. In this article, analyzing qualitative interviews, we reveal how this ecranovision, since that day to the present, is still the archetype of terror in those who were his subjects. We conclude that, at the exact moment, the media event is especially true for the violent force of the timeliness; after this, takes effect by its strength in ecranovision mode, that is, its ability to impose itself in the consciousness, and individual and collective contingencies. This is an example of the strength of ecranovisions, something that here we want to reveal.
