Resumo(s): | Este trabalho teve por objetivo observar os reflexos da globalização sobre o varejo de moda, em especial, nos shoppings centers, conhecidos mundialmente como templos do consumo. Assim, o objetivo central da pesquisa foi refletir sobre a configuração dos shoppings centers e vitrines. A pesquisa tem caráter exploratório, e foi desenvolvida através de uma pesquisa de campo, onde o pesquisador guiado por um protocolo visitava os shoppings centers de duas cidades: Maringá (Brasil) e Guimarães (Portugal). Os resultados apontam que os shoppings centers apresentam um padrão internacional em relação aos elementos visuais, como paredes e pisos claros. Em ambas as cidades os shoppings caracterizam-se como horizontais. Em relação a configuração do shopping, destacou-se as lojas de vestuário femininas; nota-se ainda que no Brasil concentram-se as marcas nacionais e americanas, enquanto que em Portugal prevalece a presença de muitas marcas da União Europeia. Dentro destes, o varejo de moda também apresenta semelhanças em relação a vitrine, sendo observado dois tipos de lojas, as amplas, com iluminação forte e alta e paredes claras, e as mais intimistas com iluminação mais baixa e paredes mais escuras. The scope of this work was the observation of the effects of the globalization on fashion retailing, especia!ly in shopping maus, known worldwide as tem pies of consumption. Thus, the centrol aim of the research was to reflect on the configuration of the shopping maus and storefronts. The research is exploratory, and was developed through a fieidwork where the researcher guided by a protocol evaivated the maus of two cities: Maringá (Brazil) and Guimarães (Portugal). The results show that the maus have an international standard in relation to visual elements such as clear wails and f!oors. In both cities the maus are characterized as horizontal. Regarding the configuration of the mali, was distinguishedfema!e ciothing stores; Note also that in Brazil focused nationa! and Ameican brands, while in Portugal the presence of many brands of Euro pean Union prevai!s. Within these, the fashion retall also presents similarities in relation to display twa types of stores, large, with strong lighting and high and light walis, and more intimate with lower lighting and dorker walis observable. |
