Circunstâncias do desenvolvimentodas escolas chinesas em Portugal: o caso da Escola Chinesa de Lisboa

Abstract

Com o rápido desenvolvimento económico e a crescente posição da China no plano internacional, o nome “Confúcio” é reconhecido por cada vez mais pessoas em todo o mundo. Consequentemente, um número crescente de escolas começou a lecionar o mandarim como curso opcional ou língua estrangeira. Desde 2004, mais de 400 Institutos Confúcio foram fundados em mais de 120 países, refletindo o entusiasmo internacional pela língua chinesa. Contudo, existe ainda um outro tipo de instituição intercultural bastante importante criada pela comunidade de emigrantes chineses por todo o mundo e a qual tem sido muitas vezes ignorada: as escolas chinesas. Comparadas com o Instituto Confúcio, as escolas chinesas foram estabelecidas mais cedo, servem uma comunidade mais ampla e estabelecem uma cooperação mais estreita com as outras instituições de ensino locais, promovendo, ainda, a divulgação da cultura chinesa no estrangeiro. Atualmente, cada vez mais professores de mandarim são enviados a lecionar em Portugal e um número crescente de escolas chinesas se estabelece neste país. Devido a esta realidade, eu escolhi a maior escola chinesa em Portugal, a Escola Chinesa de Lisboa, para aí realizar um estágio de meio ano, de modo a melhor compreender a situação atual das escolas chinesas em Portugal. Este relatório de estágio abrangerá aspetos como a evolução das escolas, a qualidade dos docentes, materiais didácticos usados, competência educativa, entre outros. O objetivo: tomando o caso da evolução da Escola Chinesa de Lisboa e a situação atual do ensino como base, analisar a função e utilidade do ensino de língua chinesa para a difusão e desenvolvimento da cultura chinesa em Portugal.

With the rapid economical development and the growing importance of China’s position in the internacional scene, the name “Confucius” is starting to be recognized by a growing number of people around the world. As a result, an increasing amount of schools have started to teach Mandarin Chinese as an optional course or as a foreign language. Since 2004, over 400 Confucius Institutes have been established in over 120 countries, reflecting the internacional enthusiasm over the Chinese language. However, there is another important kind of intercultural institution created by the communities of Chinese emigrants all over the world and which has been greatly overlooked: the Chinese school. Compared with the Confucius Institute, Chinese schools have been established earlier and serve a much vaster community, establishing a tighter cooperation with other local teaching institutions and promoting Chinese culture abroad. Nowadays, a growing number of Mandarin teachers are sent abroad to Portugal and more Chinese schools are being established in this country. For this reason, I chose to conduct a half year internship at Portugal’s biggest Chinese school, the Escola Chinesa de Lisboa, in order to better understand the circumstances of this kind of school in this country. The current internship report will cover aspects such as the schools’ evolution, teaching quality, learning materials, teaching skills, etc. Aims: Focusing on the evolution of the Escola Chinesa de Lisboa and the actual circumstances of Chinese language teaching, I aim to analyze the role and value of Chinese language teaching in the promotion and development of Chinese culture in Portugal.

近年来，随着中国经济的迅速发展和国际地位的提高，“孔子”走出国门，逐渐被 世界各国民众所认知。自2004 年起，400 余所孔子学院以惊人的速度遍及全球120 多个国家亦表明了外国人学习汉语的热情之高。 然而一个常常被忽略却非常重要的跨文化机构是由散居在世界各国的华人自发兴办 的华文学校。与孔子学院相比，华文学校历史更悠久，服务对象更广泛，与当地的 其他教育机构融合的更紧密，是海外华人传播中国文化的有利场所。 目前，有越来越多的汉语教师被派往到葡萄牙，也有越来越多的中文学校在葡萄牙 建立。 对此，我选择了葡萄牙目前规模最大的里斯本中文学校作为实习单位，在这里我进 行了为期半年的实习经历，这段实习经历使我对目前葡萄牙华文学校的整体现状和 尚未解决的问题有了更加深入的了解，本实习报告将会以实习学校作为重点调查对 象，在学校发展、学员状况、使用教材、师资力量及教学方法等几个方面做出具体 报告和分析。 目的：以里斯本中文学校的发展历史与教学现状为例透视海外华文教育对中国文化 在葡的传承与发展过程中所起的作用。
