Facebook: professores, crianças e jovens na rede

Abstract

No primeiro quartel do século XXI, diversas foram as alterações sociológicas que criaram uma “sociedade 3.0”, uma sociedade centrada na inovação e no uso das Tecnologias. Os contornos desta conduzem ao redimensionamento da Escola e da Educação em que o desenvolver de novas competências pessoais, a par do das competências digitais, representam valiosos contributos para a construção do knowmad, o indivíduo do …valorizando novos padrões de aprendizagem essenciais para o futuro. Reconhecendo que as “redes sociais” protagonizam uma forma de comunicar e de “estar socialmente”, não podemos ignorar a sua influência nas crianças e nas adolescentes. Reconhecendo que a Escola Paralela e os contextos externos à Escola, “Invisible Learning”, representam valiosas ferramentas de aprendizagem, é objetivo desta dissertação perceber o potencial do Faceboook no âmbito do ensino e da educação, ao observar a forma como docente e discentes se relacionam na rede social, identificar como interagem e de que forma esta interação pode ser positiva para o estudo. A fim de perceber a emergência dos ambientes digitais, estudou-se de que forma professores, crianças e jovens estudantes se apropriam e utilizam estes novos espaços de sociabilidade. O estudo realizou-se para o levantamento das características dos professores e dos alunos no Facebook e a sua opinião sobre o seu uso a nível pedagógico. Foram colocados aos alunos e professores da Escola Básica e Secundária do Agrupamento de Barroselas questionários sobre o uso das redes sociais (RS) na internet. Através do método qualitativo exploratório, realizou-se o tratamento dos dados dos questionários realizados com a finalidade de caracterizar a presença dos jovens e docentes no Facebook, o tipo de motivações e objetivos por parte destes no seu uso. Os resultados demonstraram que o uso do Facebook é cada vez mais crescente, quer seja pelas crianças e pelos jovens, quer seja pelos docentes, embora o principal utilizador das RS seja o adolescente. Demonstra ainda que estes recursos já foram utilizados em contexto educativo, sendo as dimensões como a interação, a colaboração e a partilha valorizadas, revelando que importa conhecer o perfil dos utilizadores dos alunos, nas RS para que se entenda de que forma se podem desenvolver e utilizar no contexto educativo.

In the first quarter of the twenty-first century, many sociological changes that have created a "Society 3.0", a company focused on innovation and use of technology. The contours of this lead to downsizing and the School of Education in the development of new personal skills alongside the digital skills represent valuable contributions to the construction of knowmad and promoting new standards for essential learning for the future. Recognizing that "social networking" star in a way of communicating and being "socially", cannot ignore their influence on children and adolescents. In order to understand the emergence of digital environments we studied how teachers, children and young students take ownership and utilize these new spaces of sociability. The study was carried out to assess the characteristics of teachers and students on Facebook and your thoughts about your use of the pedagogical level. In the form of questionnaires on the use of social networking (RS) on the internet, they were put to the students and teachers of Primary and Secondary School Grouping Barroselas. Through exploratory qualitative method, we carried out the processing of data from questionnaires conducted to characterize the presence of young people and teachers on Facebook, the kind of motivations and goals by them in its use. The results showed that the use of Facebook is increasingly growing, either by teachers, either by children and young people, although the main user of RS is the teenager. It also demonstrates that these features were used in an educational context, and its dimensions such as interaction, collaboration and sharing valued, indicating that matter know the profile of the users of the students on Facebook or other RS in order to understand the how you can develop and use in educational context.
