Literacia e ritmos musicais plano de intervenção centrado em rimas e lengalengas do património português

Abstract

O presente relatório é o resultado de um projeto de investigação-acção inserido no ano de estágio do mestrado em Educação Pré-escolar. Inicialmente apresento uma breve introdução acerca do tema escolhido: “Literacia e Ritmos Musicais. Plano de Intervenção centrado em Rimas e Lengalengas do Património Português” e fundamento a razão da escolha desse tema. Ao longo do trabalho descrevo as instituições onde foi registada a intervenção pedagógica e investigativa bem como o grupo de crianças nele envolvidos. O relatório tem como parte integrante uma pesquisa sobre o impacto das atividades implementadas (rimas, trava-línguas, lengalengas, ritmos, narrativas ritmadas, entre outros) no desenvolvimento das crianças a nível oral. O objetivo central foi compreender, registar e avaliar as diferentes formas através das quais pode ser trabalhada a língua materna com as crianças mais pequenas. Concluiu-se que as estratégias pedagógicas utilizadas na intervenção, ao aliarem o trabalho sobre a língua materna ao trabalho rítmico e musical, se revelam muito eficazes para o desenvolvimento da literacia e do conhecimento da língua por parte das crianças.

The following report is the result of an action research project developed in the training year of the MA in Pre-school Education. I start by presenting a brief introduction on the chosen topic (“Literacy and musical rhythms. Intervention plan focused on typical Portuguese rhythms and tongue-twisters”) as well as the reasons why said topic was chosen. Throughout the report I describe the institutions where the pedagogical and investigational intervention took place as well as the group of children involved in it. The report also includes a research about the impact of the implemented activities (nursery rhymes, tongue-twisters, rhythms, rhythmic narratives, among others) on the development of the children at the oral level. The main objective was to understand, register and assess the different ways in which the native language could be worked with the youngest children with the help of music and rhythm. I thereby concluded that the pedagogical strategies used in the intervention, by allying native language with rhythmical and musical work, were shown to be very effective in the development of both literacy and language skills by children.
