A importância do manual escolar na lecionação da disciplina de filosofia

Abstract

O presente trabalho intitulado A Importância do Manual Escolar na Lecionação da Disciplina de Filosofia é o Relatório de estágio em Ensino da Filosofia no Ensino Secundário que decorreu no ano letivo de 2011/2012 na Escola Secundária de Maximinos em Braga, numa turma de décimo ano e numa outra de décimo primeiro ano. A turma do 10º ano pertencia ao curso Científico-Humanístico de Ciências e Tecnologias e era composta por vinte e três alunos, nove do sexo feminino e catorze do sexo masculino. Quanto à turma do 11º ano, esta era composta por quinze alunos, treze do sexo feminino e dois do sexo masculino e pertenciam ao curso Científico-Humanístico de Línguas e Humanidades. A utilização do manual escolar continua a impor-se como prática corrente e necessária, pois, para além de ser um instrumento que o professor dispõe para lecionar a disciplina, constitui um auxiliar de relevo no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Neste relatório tenta-se mostrar a utilidade do manual nas aulas de Filosofia, tendo este como função principal estimular o pensamento crítico dos alunos. O manual escolar deve ser imparcial, deve responder aos interesses e necessidades de quem ensina, aprende e avalia. O presente Relatório é composto por três capítulos. O primeiro capítulo intitula-se Contexto e Plano de Intervenção onde é apresentada a caraterização da vertente pedagógica e da vertente de intervenção. O segundo capítulo intitulado Desenvolvimento do Plano de Intervenção contém duas secções: a primeira designa-se Desenvolvimento da Vertente Pedagógica, nela é feita a descrição detalhada da lecionação, a segunda intitula-se Desenvolvimento da Vertente de Intervenção onde é apresentada a reflexão sobre os manuais escolares. Finalmente, no terceiro capítulo designado Apresentação e Análise dos Resultados, analisamos os resultados obtidos da avaliação feita aos diferentes parâmetros do manual escolar. Para além dos três capítulos principais, o Relatório contém ainda, uma introdução, as considerações finais, a bibliografia e um conjunto de anexos.

This work, named The Importance of the Manual in Philosophy Teaching is the Report of the internship in teaching Philosophy in high school, during 2011/2012 in Escola Secundária de Maximinos, Braga to 10th and 11th grades. The 10th grade was from the Scientific-Humanistic de Science and Technologies study. There was twenty tree students, nine girls and fourteen boys. In the 11th grade were fifteen students, thirteen girls and two boys and they were attending the Scientific-Humanistic de Language and Humanities course. The usage of such manuals it’s still necessary, because it's not only one important tool that teachers have to teach the subject, but it's an important help in the teaching-learning process. This report, it means to demonstrate how useful manuals are in philosophy lessons, and it's most important role is to boost critical thoughts of students. The manual should be impartial, and it should answer to interests and needs to those who teach, learn and assess. There are three chapters in this Report. The first chapter it’s called Background and the Intervention Plan, where the pedagogical aspect and the intervention aspect are presented and characterised. The second chapter is called Development of the Intervention Plan and it has two sections: the first of this sections is the Development of the pedagogical aspect, and detailed classes are described in it, the second it's called Development of the intervention aspect and it has a reflection about the manuals. At least, in the third chapter, which is called Presentation and the Result Analysis we look at the results to the evaluation that was done to the different parameters of the manuals. Beyond that three main chapters, the Report has an introduction, an conclusion, a bibliography and the attachments.
