The conformational chain mobility of a semicrystalline poly(ethylene terephthalate), PET, is studied in the glass transition region by different techniques: Thermally Stimulated Recovery (TSR) in the tensile mode using both global and thermal sampling experiments, Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) and dielectric relaxation spectroscopy. The viscoelastic response observed above Tg in the mechanical results is attributed to the manisfestation of irreversible viscous flow.eng
