Adaptação do método Colourstrings ao ensino da trompa

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio relata o decorrer de uma investigação realizada no Conservatório do Vale do Sousa no ano letivo 2018-2019, que recaiu sobre a temática do ensino de transposição e harmónicos, bem como a melhoria da precisão da emissão sonora, utilizando uma adaptação do método Colourstrings de Géza Szilvay, a jovens trompistas nos anos iniciais de aprendizagem. A fase inicial do ensino/aprendizagem da trompa é aquela que define todo o futuro dos educandos, mas a dificuldade que os alunos têm em tocar a nota certa na primeira tentativa torna o processo moroso. A intervenção realizada pretendeu perceber se é possível aplicar o método Colourstrings ao ensino/aprendizagem da trompa com benefícios. Como metodologia de investigação foi utilizada a investigação-ação e foram recolhidos dados através da observação participante, do material produzido pelos alunos, do registo de áudio e vídeo, de grelhas de observação, de entrevistas aos alunos e ao professor cooperante e uma audição final. Os resultados revelaram que a adaptação do método Colourstrings ao ensino da trompa oferece bastantes benefícios, tanto a nível musical, como motivacional. Esta área carece, contudo, de muita investigação, nomeadamente no uso de cores no ensino de música, cuja total abrangência dos benefícios ainda está por estudar.

The following internship report describes the course of a research conducted in Conservatório do Vale do Sousa during the school year of 2018-2019, which focus on the topic of transposition and harmonics teaching, as well as accuracy improvement, using an adaptation of the Colourstrings method by Géza Szilvay, to young horn players that are in the early years of apprenticeship. The initial teaching/learning of the horn is the one that defines the whole student future, but the difficulty that they have in playing the right note on the first attempt makes the process time consuming. The intervention that was performed intended to understand if it is possible to apply the Colourstrings method to teaching/learning the horn with benefits. Action-research was used as research methodology, and data were collected through participant observation, material produced by the students, audio and video recording, observation grids, interviews with students and the cooperating teacher and a final recital. The results showed that the adaptation of the Colourstrings method to horn teaching offers several benefits, both musical and motivational. This area, however, lacks a lot of research, specifically in the use of colours in music education, whose scope of benefits has yet to be studied.
