Da paz e da guerra em pensadores portugueses do século XX

Abstract

Não é comum encontrar discursos a defender abertamente a guerra, mas esta tem sido uma das principais “pestes” ao longo da história. Perante este dado, é legítimo lançar-se um “porquê?” geral, antropológico, e um “porquê?” mais cultural. Eis duas das dimensões do mesmo problema, sobre as quais nos debruçaremos, realçando fundamentalmente algumas linhas do pensamento português durante o período do século XX.

It is not common to find discourses openly defending war, but it has been one of the main "plagues"throughout history. Given this fact, it is legitimate to launch a general,anthropological “why?”and a more cultural “why?”. These are two of the dimensions of the same problem, which we will address, fundamentally highlighting some lines of portuguese thought during the20th century
