Abstract(s)Sustainable development, defined by the World Commission on Environment and Development as the ‘‘development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs’’, is in worldwide agendas. Education for sustainable development is particularly important to guarantee that everyone has the values, the behaviors and the lifestyle necessary to transform our society and to build a sustainable future. Considering that environmental and scientific education in general should be promoted from early childhood the project has been implementing hands-on activities for children on a regular basis. The present work will present the project “Ciência p´ra que te quero" conceived under the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the different activities promoted and some of the results of its implementation.
