Inflência [i.é influência] do conhecimento e do uso dos percursos pedestres na educação ambiental pelos professores do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico no processo de ensino e de aprendizagem

Abstract

Este estudo prende-se fundamentalmente com a constatação consensualmente assumida por um conjunto de Professores do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico de que, os Percursos Pedestres devem assumir-se como uma actividade ligada ao desporto ou não, onde professores e alunos, demonstrem um interesse crescente e saudável, pela descoberta dos valores naturais, históricos e culturais de uma determinada localidade e pela necessidade de haver um contacto mais estreito e directo com a natureza e com a sua protecção, preservação e respeito. Estamos conscientes de que a Influência do Conhecimento e do Uso dos Percursos Pedestres na Educação Ambiental pelos professores no Processo de Ensino e de Aprendizagem, coloca desafios às práticas dos professores deste nível de ensino, na medida em que é globalmente considerada de difícil aceitação e operacionalização. A presente investigação incidiu num estudo de Mestrado no Ramo de Estudos da Criança - Área de Conhecimento de Promoção da Saúde e do meio Ambiente, que envolveu professores do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico de um Agrupamento de Escolas do Concelho da Póvoa de Lanhoso. Visou o estudo das suas concepções, e análise complementar de alguns documentos orientadores da acção educativa destes docentes, no sentido de procurar responder a uma questão principal: Que influência tem o Conhecimento e Uso dos Percursos Pedestres pelos Professores do 1.º CEB na Educação Ambiental no processo de Ensino e de Aprendizagem? Através do recurso a uma metodologia mista (qualitativa e quantitativa), ambicionamos responder à questão chave do estudo e seus objectivos, na vertente de estudo de caso. A principal finalidade consistia em analisar as concepções dos professores do 1.º Ciclo, através de questionários e também permitir uma análise de alguns documentos internos de orientação educativa do Agrupamento/Escolas do 1.º Ciclo e legislação, que nos permitisse uma reflexão sobre as suas concepções. Os principais resultados do estudo foram apresentados e discutidos, procurando retirar-se implicações para a melhoria das práticas educativas neste nível de ensino quanto à Influência do Conhecimento e do Uso dos Percursos Pedestres na Educação Ambiental pelos Professores do 1.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico no Processo de Ensino e de Aprendizagem.

This study is arrested basically with the assumed constatation from a teachers group of the 1st Cycle that the Pedestrian Passages must be presumptions as in the activity to the sport or not, where teachers and pupils, demonstrates an increase and the healthful interest, for the discovery of the natural, historical values and cultural of one determined locality and so that the necessity has a narrower contact and direct with the nature and its protection, preservation and respect. We are concientious that the influence of the knowledge and the use of the Pedestrian Passages in the Ambient Education for these teachers in the process of the instruction and the learning, he places challenges to the practical ones of the professors of this level of instruction, in the measure where it is considered of the difficult acceptance and operacionaly. The current inquiry happened in a study of Master in the branch office of the child studies - the area of knowledge of the Promotion of the health and the environment, that involved professors of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education to group of the schools of the Póvoa de Lanhoso area. It pointed in the study of its conceptions, and in the complementary analysis of some originals guiding of the part educative of these teachers, in the direction to answer to a final question: What influence has the knowledge and the use of the Pedestrian Passages for the professors of 1.º CEB in the ambient instruction in the process of the instruction and the learning? Through the resource to a mixing methodology (qualitative and quantitative), we hope to answer to the key of the question of the study and its purposes, in the source of the case study. The main purpose consisted of analyzing conceptions of the professors of the 1.º Cycle, with the questionnaires and also reserving to an analysis of some internal originals of the orientation educative to group/schools of the 1.º Cycle and the legislation, that allow us in a reflection about its conceptions. The main results of the study had been presented and argued, looking to the implications of the license for the practical improvement of educative in this level of instruction how much the influence of knowledge and the use of the Pedestrian Passages in the ambient instruction for the professors of the 1st cycle of Basic Education in the process of the instruction and the learning.
