Abstract(s)[Excerpt] This chapter reflects the experience of four countries which entered SHARE as new countries in wave four. We asked the authors to give an account of what motivated them to become part of SHARE, what obstacles and challenges they encountered, how these were overcome and to give a brief outlook of future directions. Countries appear in alphabetical order.
