What challenges are currently facing early childhood education? What views fit the notion of child/ren and childhood/s? How to promote learning building and encourage the development of willingness, attitudes and values for structuring future learning? In addition to the educational sciences, neurosciences, sociology, psychology, anthropology and biology, economics and other scientific areas are also addressing their attention to childhood education. In this scenario, the following question arises: What can Science teach us? The invited researchers, as well as the authors of 44 communications, will discuss and answer this question towards rethinking child education future. Indeed, this meeting brings together national and international experts in the field of childhood in a debate that will address issues such as: childhood poverty, children and the economy, communication and development, wellness promotion, children in the digital world, diversity and early childhood education, research with children, international perspectives on quality, childhood neurosciences and challenges for the education of refugee children in Europe.por
