Tecnologia educativa em Portugal: conceito, origens, evolução, áreas de intervenção e investigação

Abstract

Os autores analisam, em primeiro lugar, o conceito de Tecnologia Educativa, bem como as três etapas da sua evolução – ajudas para o ensino, ajudas para a aprendizagem e focagem sistémica-. Em segundo lugar, descrevem as origens, evolução e áreas de intervenção da Tecnologia Educativa em Portugal. Destacam três momentos de evolução (arranque, afirmação, e desenvolvimento) e três áreas de intervenção (apoio à educação/ensino à distância, formação de professores e educação de adultos/formação profissional). Por fim, referem-se a algumas investigações efectuadas no país.

The authors analyse the concept of Technology of Education, as well as the three stages of its evolution – assisting teaching, assisting learning and the systemic approach. The origins, development and areas of intervention of this field of study in Portugal are described. Three moments are stressed (initial steps, assertion and development), as well as three areas of intervention (education/distance learning, teacher training and adult education/professional development). An account is given of research undertaken in our country.
