Alocação de tarefas em processos de negócio suportados por BPMS: perspetivas de otimização

Abstract

Por norma, na execução de processos suportados por BPMS (Business Processes Management System) qualquer tarefa com necessidade de intervenção humana é direcionada para as pessoas inscritas no respetivo “role”. Este artigo defende que, para otimizar a execução do trabalho nas organizações é necessário conciliar as características das tarefas a executar com os aspetos sociais e humanos das pessoas que, formalmente, as podem realizar. Nesse sentido os BPMS, ao gerirem a execução dos processos organizacionais, devem estar preparados para selecionar os recursos humanos mais adequados à execução de cada tarefa, tendo em conta, quer as características destas, quer das pessoas que as podem executar.

By default, in the execution of processes supported by BPMS (Business Processes Management System) any task requiring human intervention is delivered to all the persons registered on the corresponding "role". This article argues that in order to optimize the execution of work in organizations it is necessary to conciliate the characteristics of the tasks to be performed and the social and human aspects of the people who may perform them. In this sense the BPMS, while managing the execution of organizational processes, should be prepared to select the human resources which are more suitable to perform each task, taking into account their own characteristics, and those of the people who can accomplish them.
