Dança e degolação: para uma poética do romance em Nuno Júdice

Abstract

A forte inclinação autorreflexiva da literatura contemporânea tem feito dela o lugar privilegiado da própria teoria literária. Caraterizando-se por uma particular densidade intertextual, um eruditismo e uma amplitude metaliterária que se articulam de perto com um entendimento do trabalho do escritor fora dos registos românticos da „inspiração‟, a escrita de Nuno Júdice, nos domínios quer da poesia quer da ficção, revela-se particularmente permeável ao equacionamento de temas e questões de poética literária desenvolvidas com frequência na relação com outras artes. É nesta perspetiva que neste ensaio se olha para a produção romanesca do Autor, propondo, em particular, possíveis nexos estruturais entre a escrita ficcional e a dança contemporânea.

The strong self-reflexive inclination of contemporary literature has made it the privileged place of literary theory itself. Characterized by a particular intertextual density, eruditeism and a metalliterary amplitude closely articulated with an understanding of the writer's work outside the romantic records of 'inspiration', the writing of Nuno Júdice, in the domains of both poetry and fiction, is particularly permeable to the equation of themes and issues of literary poetics often developed in relation to other arts. It is in this perspective that in this essay one looks for some of the author's fictional production, proposing, in particular, possible structural links between fictional writing and contemporary dance.
