Being the buildings responsible for the consumption of 40% of the energy produced in the EU, the EPBD-recast has defined as goals the decrease of the CO2 emissions and the energy necessities of the edified park, highlighting the housing sector. Its goals highlight the need to increase the energy efficiency of buildings and the production of energy from renewable sources, arising the concept of nZEB – nearly zero energy buildings. Given that the portuguese housing park is aged and was, in its majority, built before the entry into force of the thermal regulation at national level, there is the need to preserv and rehabilitate the buildings, in way to stop it’s degradation and improve the well being and health of the occupants, reduce energy poverty of families and the country’s exposure to the variations in energy prices. Therefore, its necessary to identify the best practices to rehabilitate the edified park to answer the targets established in the EPBD-recast, which includes the reinforcement of the isolation of the surrounding and the incorporation of solar systems to meet the energy needs. In this work was studied an unifamiliar housing building characteristical of the 80’s, defined two rehabilitational scenarios for the surrounding reduction of the energy needs of the building, selected techical systems, to the AQS production and air conditioning and termic solar and photovoltaic systems. At last, it was done an optimal-cost analysis, to verify what is the best scenario in terms of rehabilitation cost associated. After the results balance it should be noted that the two scenarios present similar energy needs, however in regards to the associated cost, stands out the ETICS system with EPS as the cheapest, being the most praise worthy scenario. |
