Melhoria de desempenho na área de inserção automática de SMDs, aplicando ferramentas Lean Production, numa empresa de componentes eletrónicos

Abstract

Esta dissertação apresenta um projeto realizado no contexto de uma dissertação do Mestrado em Engenharia Industrial que se desenvolveu na Empresa Delphi Automotive Systems - Portugal SA, sedeada na cidade de Braga. Teve como principal objetivo melhorar a eficiência operacional na secção de inserção automática de SMD (Surface-Mount Device). Foi efetuada uma revisão bibliográfica sobre os princípios lean e ferramentas aplicadas na realização deste projeto, dando principal ênfase às ferramentas Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED), 5S, Standard Work e Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Descreveu-se os processos produtivos de todas as secções desta unidade fabril, pormenorizando a secção SMT a qual foi o foco deste projeto. Efetuou-se uma análise detalhada dos processos produtivos de SMT de forma a conseguir identificar os principais desperdícios que afetavam o indicador designado de eficiência operacional (OE- Operational Effectiveness). O foco desta análise foram os changeovers, rota de fornecimento de matéria-prima e a manutenção. Foi possível com esta análise definir uma série de ações a implementar no armazém, manutenção e produção, pelos responsáveis do plano de produção, pelos técnicos de manutenção e também pela secção de SMT de forma a reduzir os tempos de changeovers, tempos de paragens de máquinas devido a avarias e também as falhas de fornecimento de materiais. Com as ações implementadas verificou-se um aumento na eficiência operacional em 2,2%, passando dos 81,2% para 83,4%, comparação efetuada entre o primeiro semestre de 2015 e o primeiro semestre de 2016.

This dissertation shows a project that was developed at the company Delphi Automotive Systems - Portugal SA, based in the city of Braga and had as main objective the improvement of the operational effectiveness in the section of automatic insertion of SMD (Surface-Mount Device). In a first moment a bibliographical review on the lean principles and tools applied in the accomplishment of this project was realized, giving emphasis to the tools SMED, 5S, Standard Work and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). A detailed analysis of the productive processes was carried out of all the sections of this factory unit, detailing the SMT section that was the focus of this project, was made. The beginning of the project had as objective a detailed analysis of the productive processes of SMT in order to identify the main wastes that affected the indicator Operational Effectiveness (OE). The focus of this analysis was the changeovers, raw material supply route and maintenance. It was possible with this analysis to define a series of actions to be implemented by the warehouse, by the planners of the production plan, by the maintenance team and also by the SMT section in order to reduce the changeover times, machine downtime due to malfunctions and faults in the supply of materials. With the actions already implemented there was an increase in operational efficiency of 2.2%, from 81.2% to 83.4%, a comparison between the first half of 2015 and the first half of 2016.
