The presente report, entitled “ Discovering…”: The construction of significant knowledge in an active and integrated practice, results from the implementation, development and evaluation of an educational intervention project under Supervised Teaching Practice, within the Master in Preschool Education and Teaching in the First Cycle of Basic Education. The investigation followed some features of the action-investigation methodology, characterized by spiraling cycles of research and action, which critically and constantly reflects on the practice in order to improve it. The objectives focus on the build, develop and evaluate a Curriculum Integrated Project (CIP) and analysis of their contribution to the construction of knowledge with proposed meaningful, diverse, innovative and enriching experiences) Also, reflect on the educational environment, specifically the role of the student as an active subject and the teacher as a mediator in the teaching-learning process. Based on a comprehensive and globalizing perspective, rooted in the surrounding environment and in order to respond to questions from students, we proceeded to the organization of a Curriculum Integrated Project (CIP) , entitled " Is there science in professions? " . This is governed around integration concepts and adaptation of the curriculum to the context where students fall making it meaningful and relevant . It should be noted concerns about the curriculum differentiation promoting therefore the significant and active learning for all and each child. The intervention project is organized and analyzed in order to publicize the contribution of Curriculum Integrated Project ( CIP) and the methodology discovery for the development of the following skills in students : how learn to know, to be, to live with others and how to learn to do. Accordingly , with differentiated , integrated and innovative teaching practices in a cooperative environment , the students set out to discover , assuming an attitude of research and developing special form skills of observation, search and selection of information that allowed them to solve problems.
