Abstract(s)Currently, with the current advancement of Augmented Reality (AR) technology it isnow possible to note a significant increase of possibilities for using use of its tools in the process developmentand use of a product. By inserting virtual objects/information in the real environment, AR cancontribute to the interaction of objects with its users, as well as to develop and test products. With ARsystems applied to product it is possible, for example, to simulate different uses and to guide/inform users. Thus, from the perspective of informational ergonomics and safety, the aim of this research is to exploresome possibilities of using AR as a guidance tool for users of consumer packages. With thus purpose,a literature review was carried out in order to identify AR applications for this type of product that arefocused on users’ guidance, and possible ergonomic issues, usability and safety involved.
