Cultura literária e cultura digital: um diálogo possível

Abstract

A literatura estimula a criatividade e o pensamento crítico e, desta forma, torna-se um fator importante em nossa formação intelectual. Pois, isso, vemos uma preocupação da sociedade civil e dos governos, no desenvolvimento de ações de estímulo à leitura, principalmente, entre crianças e jovens. Em tempos digitais as experiências de leitura transpõem o livro impresso e se abrem para diferentes telas, ambientes virtuais e situações, nas quais esta prática associa-se a uma cultura de interação em tempo real. Esse estudo analisa a possibilidade de um diálogo entre a cultura literária e a cultura digital no incentivo à leitura. Propomos ainda uma reflexão sobre a educação para as mídias no contexto escolar, sua realidade entre as escolas públicas brasileiras e as perspectivas a partir do resultado de iniciativas sociais complementares às políticas públicas. Assim, conduzimos esta investigação na busca por criar uma sinergia entre estes dois aspectos da produção cultural da sociedade contemporânea. Uma pequena contribuição na busca por indicações de respostas para os desafios de ampliar nossa compreensão deste mundo, mediado pelas tecnologias.

The literature stimulates creativity and critical thought. Thus, it’s an important element to one’s intellectual formation. Due to this, it’s possible to notice a real concern from the civil society and governments on the development of actions that stimulate reading, especially among children and teenagers. In a digital era, the reading experiences overcome the printed book and reach different screens, virtual environments and situations in which these practices are associated with a culture of live, face to face interaction. This research aims to analyze the possibility of a dialogue between the literary culture and the digital culture on the encouragement of reading. It also proposes a reflection on the media education into the classroom context, its reality among public Brazilian schools and some perspectives originated from the results of social actions used as complement to public policies. Thus, this investigation was conducted aiming to create a synergy between these two spheres of cultural production of the contemporary societies. It consists then, on a small contribution to the search for possibilities of answers to the challenge of broadening the comprehension of a world mediated by technologies.
