A expressão oral na língua materna e na língua estrangeira : a modalidade expositiva

Abstract

Podemos definir a exposição oral como a transmissão de uma mensagem, por vias da comunicação oral, de maneira estruturada na qual um locutor dirige-se a um interlocutor para lhe transmitir informações, descrever ou explicar algo. Portanto não devemos definir a exposição oral apenas como saber falar ou ler algo perante uma plateia. O locutor além de saber falar, deve saber estruturar uma mensagem de forma coesa e coerente para a poder transmitir corretamente. Na escola não existe uma atividade prática corrente e organizada a nível da oralidade, o que provoca, na maioria dos alunos, um mal-estar e receio quando têm de produzir algum enunciado oral um pouco mais longo e mais formal. Defende-se, então, um treino e uma aprendizagem desta competência comunicativa, para que os alunos a possam desenvolver corretamente, produzindo um discurso coerente num contexto futuro, uma vez que a oralidades faz parte do seu quotidiano. Sendo assim, o professor detém um papel primordial no ensino da comunicação oral. Este deve criar condições de comunicação, na sala de aula, entre professora – aluno e entre alunos e situações para que os alunos sejam autónomos ao longo do seu processo educativo. O professore deve, então, evitar a metodologia de uma aula expositiva, na qual o professor debita os conteúdos e o aluno apenas ouve e escreve, não desempenhando assim nenhum papel na sua aprendizagem. Este projeto de intervenção tem como principal objetivo desenvolver a competência ao nível da exposição oral dos alunos. No seguinte relatório, desenvolvido durante o ano de estágio pedagógico de 2011/2012, faz-se um trabalho de investigação teórico-prático sobre o tema, tendo em conta uma intervenção pedagógica incidida em duas turmas, uma de Português, língua materna e outra de Espanhol, língua estrangeira.

We can define oral exposition as the transmission of a message in a structured way, by means of oral communication, in which a speaker addresses an interlocutor to convey information, describe or explain something. Therefore we should not define oral exposition just as knowing how to speak or read something before an audience. The speaker besides knowing how to speak should know how to structure a message in a cohesive and coherent form, so that he can transmit it correctly. At school there isn’t an organized practical activity at the level of orality, and this causes in most students a fear when they have to produce a longer and more formal oral statement. It is argued, then, that training and learning of this communicative competence is needed, so that students can develop it properly, producing a coherent discourse in a future context, since orality is part of their daily lives. Therefore, the teacher has a key role in the teaching of oral communication. He should create conditions for communication in the classroom between teacher - student and among students and situations for students to be autonomous throughout their educational process. The teacher should then avoid the methodology of expository lessons in which the teacher “delivers” the content and the students only listen to and write, not playing any role in their learning process. The main goal of the intervention project was to develop oral competency level of students. In the following report, developed during teaching practice year 2011/2012, one makes a theory-practical investigation work about the subject matter, taking in consideration a pedagogical intervention that involved two groups, one of Portuguese Mother language and another Spanish, foreign language.
