A construção de significados sobre "o som": uma abordagem experimental e interdisciplinar das ciências no 1º CEB

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio resultou do projeto de intervenção pedagógica realizado no âmbito da Pratica de Ensino Supervisionada, o qual teve por objetivo geral implementar e descrever uma prática de ensino experimental e interdisciplinar das Ciências numa turma de 2º ano do 1º Ciclo do Ensino Básico (n=23). Para o desenvolvimento desse projeto em sala de aula foram definidos os seguintes objetivos específicos: a) Promover uma abordagem de ensino de natureza prática e/ou experimental na abordagem das várias áreas curriculares, que estimule o pensamento dos alunos; b) Identificar, no contexto dessa abordagem pedagógica, as ideias iniciais dos alunos sobre o tema em estudo - "o som"; c) Promover a (re)construção de conhecimentos sobre “o som”, na área das Ciências, da Música e da Língua; d) Identificar e caracterizar processos que estimulam na sala de aula a construção de significados sobre o tópico em estudo; e) Avaliar as aprendizagens realizadas pelos alunos; f) Desenvolver hábitos e atitudes que propiciem um pensamento mais profundo na abordagem dos tópicos objeto de estudo. Foram implementadas cinco aulas, totalizando um tempo total de intervenção em sala de aula de nove horas. Durante o processo de ensino-aprendizagem procedeu-se à recolha sistemática de dados, com os quais se elaboraram, posteriormente, os diários de aulas. A análise dos diários de aula, conjugada com os resultados da avaliação das aprendizagens dos alunos, demonstra que a maioria das crianças desenvolveu uma boa aprendizagem sobre o tópico curricular objeto de estudo.

The current report is a result of a pedagogical and interventional project structured in a Supervised Teaching Practice and its general aim is centered on the implementation and description of an experimental and interdisciplinary teaching practice on Science: this project was developed in a second grade of Elementary School Teaching class (n=23) and in order to propose an accurate and sustained development of this project, the following aims were required to guide the activities: a) Promoting a practical and/ or experimental approach on many curricular areas which stimulate student’s thinking; b) Identify in the context of that pedagogical approach, the initial student’s ideas on the “sound”; c) Promote the (re)construction of scientifical, musical and linguistic knowledge about the sound; d) Identify and characterize processes in the classroom which stimulate the construction of meanings of the topic on study; e) Evaluate all the knowledge the students obtained; f) Develop habits and attitudes which benefit a deeper reflection on the approach of the topics studied. During the application of this project, five classes were implemented which totalized an intervention of nine hours. In order to achieve conclusive results on the teaching-learning process, it has been chosen a selection of data base during the classes and through it, class diaries have also been worked on. The analysis of these diaries, along with the children’s written registries were carefully studied and demonstrated that the majority of the students have also shown the abilities to structure all their learning and build a meaningful knowledge on the topics studied.
