Erratum to: general spherically symmetric elastic stars in relativity

Abstract

A mistake in a global sign renders wrong subsection 5.1 in the recently published paper \General spherically symmetric elastic stars in Relativity"(Gen Relativ Gravit (2010) 42: 2357-2382). Here, we correct that mistake and re-write subsection 5.1, presenting examples similar to those in the above paper. The general developments, outline and conclusions in that reference remain valid.
